After upgrading the Windows 10 operating system to Win 11 all previous configurated settings are set back to default. Following step-by step-guide shows how to reconfigurate the system.
General power options
1.) enter "control panel" in the search box
2.) navigate to the power options
3.) select high Performance and open the plan settings
4.) If necessary change turn off display and sleepmode to never
USB Power Management
1.) open device manager => right click on windows symbol or via searchbox
2.) search for the universial serial bus controllers
3.) right click (or hold with touch screen) on all red underlined controllers, select properties
4.) choose the tab Power Managament in the Properties window and remove the checkmark. Repeat for all 4 controllers
